Learning The Ropes Festival 2022

The Association of Ringing Teachers and the Mancroft Ringing Discovery Centre have developed an exciting programme of events and Master Classes for the day aimed at new ringers who have achieved at least Level 2 and are working towards Level 3 or have already achieved it. Come and experience the bells of Norwich with dedicated tutors.

In addition to the schedule programme of sessions, there is the opportunity to go on a photographer’s walking tour of the City, try out handbells, ring on a mini ring (or maybe two) and learn to splice ropes.

At lunchtime, Will Bosworth, Editor of the Ringing World, will be launching their new Blue Book, perfect for new ringers starting out in method ringing.

Cost is £25 for the whole day, or £15 for a half day, although we do encourage everyone to come for the whole day of course! There’s so much to see and do.

Guests, friends and family are all welcome too and we suggest a donation to the MRDC if they wish to take part in any of the non-bookable events.
