If you are now able to ring unaided and are looking to start to ring rounds with your band this 45minute session is designed for you.
The training bells at MRDC make it easy to get used to ringing rounds and then starting to move your bell in call changes and we introduce you to making places, hunting, leading and tenor behind.
Kaleidoscope ringing is a series of changes made within two places. There are three basic exercises. Each one demands a higher level of bell control than the previous one. They are best introduced in the order:
- Long places – four blows in one place.
- Place making – two blows rung in each place.
- Dodging.
